"CrossFit Roar has become part of my daily life and I have met many fantastic people along the way, including my now wife."
Joining Roar 5 years ago was a scary thing for me at the time and way outside of my comfort zone. However, the people and coaches made it a very easy thing to do and continue to do.
Years of being inactive soon turned into daily workouts, learning many new things, and doing things that I never thought I would be able to do. For example, there is no way I would have ever thought of doing a rope climb, let alone a 30” box jump. Both of these have been huge accomplishments for me, particularly as I am a 100kg+ guy.
CrossFit Roar has become part of my daily life and I have met many fantastic people along the way, including my now wife.
If you are worried about the unknown, don’t be. The classes are structured and you are shown what to do. You can also always adjust the movements to suit your abilities and needs (my favourite).
So bite the bullet, like I did several years ago, and come on in and enjoy the no-judgement, no-ego environment that is Roar. You won’t regret it!
