There is a common misconception among those new to CrossFit that you must possess a high level of fitness before joining the classes. This is definitely not the case! CrossFit uniquely caters for all ages, sizes and fitness levels. We do however take safety very seriously, and want to be certain that you are ready to confidently jump into the sessions without placing yourself at risk of injury.
So ‘how the hell do I start?!?!’ you ask? Simply book in for a introductory session (run outside of scheduled class times) with one of our coaches. During this time, we will assess your current situation and take you through some of the core functional movements in CrossFit to get you started, regardless of your level of experience. Most people will only require one or two intro sessions before they get a grasp of the basics and are ready to join up, however this is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
